Reputable Elder Law and Estate Planning law firm located in Brandon, Florida has an immediate opening for an outstanding associate litigation attorney. This is a critical, high visibility role with opportunities to be significantly involved in the growing area of elder law litigation, inclusive of guardianship litigation, elder exploitation, and trust and estate litigation.

Requirements

Execute client work with quality and efficiency, as directed by supervising attorney(s); Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary via email, phone, and in person; Promptly and accurately record time spent on client matters via practice management software; Interface with clients as needed; Drafting, reviewing, redlining, and writing correspondence and pleadings; Attending Court hearings; Conducting depositions; Other document preparation; Other duties as assigned

Other Requirements:  J.D. degree; Member of the Florida State Bar; 1-3 year practicing attorney; Minimum 1 year experience as an associate litigation attorney; Proficient with computers and software; Strong technical and strategic aptitude; Outstanding legal research skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; Strong verbal, written, and communication skills; Ability to independently conduct and manage own workload and meet deadlines; Fluent with Microsoft Office; Capacity to become proficient in practice management software
